In 1974, after a childhood filled with piano lesson and recitals, Marc began playing with the Nanaimo based rock and roll band ‘Castle’ ~ playing locally on Vancouver Island and further afield in to Saskatchewan and Alberta. The band recorded an unreleased album of original songs during that year of performances.
Later that year Marc was invited to audition for Teen Angel & the Rockin’ Rebels, a legendary nostalgia show band based out of in Vancouver B.C.. That audition led Marc to be the vocal arranger and keyboardist for the successful travelling show until 1979.
In the 80′s and 90′s Marc kept his hand in various musical activities; including writing and arranging original music and a successful Bowen Island run of a production of Godspell. Marc arranged the music for the live band accompaniment of a cast of actor singers.
More recently, Marc has been playing with the Bowen Island band Deer in The Headlights at community concerts and local venues enjoying performances of covers as well as original music.
Since 2004 Marc has been a regular studio sessions musician at S&S Studios in Victoria, B.C., working on a variety of recording projects of both original and cover material, arranging a variety of instrumental and vocal styles.
